Kefir is a combination of beneficial yeast and intestinal probiotic bacteria that are rich in antioxidants. Put a sachet of the kefir culture and 250 ml milk in the glass and place the cloth over it. Allow the mixture to breathe for 24 hours at room temperature. Filter the kefir grains out of the mixture with the sieve and add them to your muesli, smoothies or fruit.
You can also use the kefir culture to make your own sourdough bread or kefir cheese.
