Once you've finished building Tobbie, he uses his artificial intelligence to interact with you and he's even able to respond with gestures and emotions. He also has some fantastically futuristic robot lighting effects and sounds.
Tobbie has two modes that allow him to move around - "Follow Me" and "Explore". When you put him in "Follow Me" mode, he uses his IR sensor to detect movement and follow anything that moves. So you can have Tobbie follow your hand, your pet, or another Tobbie!
When you switch him to "Explore" mode, he happily goes his own way, using his smart infrared sensor to make sure he doesn't bump into anything. And to make sure he's super stable on his feet, he has not 2, not 4, but 6 spidery legs!
